Pimms Transfer Project - Dec 2011

We've been doing a great deal of work with London Councils, but more specifically LEPT (London European Partnership for Transport), for their Pimms Transfer project this autumn to create videos for the final of their ; the project aimed to promote greater synergy between European countries in making renewable or greener methods of transport by allowing a forum for which they could share policies and initiatives that had worked within their own country with other nations in a hope that these practices may benefit them too. As well as RHP filming Car Free Days in Hackney and Norwood, we also collaborated with other film crews around Europe who supplied footage of the various events happening around their country; This was used in conjunction with our filming of the final PTP Conference in London and the various workshops that took place on the day.

All the filming was done with the Sony HVR-DR60 and a pair of HVR-DR60s was used for filming the main conference (one for close-ups, one for wide/safety shot) the sound was taken direct from the desk except for in the "break-out" workshop sessions where on-camera Sennheiser rifle mics were used. The edit was painstakingly performed working closely with exhaustive, detailed notes from the incredible London councils team who diligently went through the many hours of material from both the UK and all the partner countries. The end production was a series of London modules and modules for each of the partner states for both their involvement in Pimms Transfer project but also their European Mobility Week events (publicising and promoting greener transport in cities).
